Rummikub

One of people's favorite games is the classic brick game Rummikub. Grouping the tiles into sets is all that's required before you can hit the pavement running. The winner is determined by who can get rid of all of their tiles first. This classic game is a fan favorite for a good reason: it's fun because it's a good mix of planning, luck, and fierce competition.

Each person will have 14 squares to play with. In the original version of Rummikub found on the internet, the 14 tiles are selected at random. The player's rack now has 14 tiles on it. A player sets up their rack with bricks. The goal of Rummikub is to be the first player to eliminate all of their tiles from play.

Game Tips

• You shouldn't feel obligated to use every tile in your hand. You should hold on to a few tiles until other players have a chance to place them on the table. This will open up more opportunities for you.
• If you have a full set of tiles or four tiles in total, it is best to play only three of them and save the fourth for later. As a result, you can save money for the next turn by not purchasing an extra brick.
• What you do to your Joker has significant consequences. The 30 points lost if the Joker is still in your bag after the game is over must be weighed against the benefits of having the Joker late in the game.
